Neelakurinji, a flower with 40 odd varieties that blooms only once in 12 years, turning the land into a masterpiece of nature.
Neela refers to blue and the flower is lovingly called as Kurinji by the native people here.
The magical beauty of the blue and lilac splendor was spread over the hills by Neelakurunji in 2018. The next time blossom is expected in 2030, so another 12 years!
